How long have you been doing this?

I have been a "hobby" photographer since 2015, but I decided in 2020 to leave my career as an RN, and to further my education and become a professional photographer, and in September 2020, 'Cristy Winstead Photography' was born.

How many photos do we get?

The number of photos you will receive will depend on the type and length of your session. My standard 1-hour sessions include a minimum of 40 images. See available packages under "Investment."

How do we get our photos?

Your photos will be delivered to you via an online gallery, from which you can download, share, and/or order prints.

Do you retouch photos?

I spend many hours editing all gallery images, so you will be able to view the final quality when your gallery is delivered.

What's your turn around time?

Turn around time is dependent on a number of factors, but I strive to deliver images as quickly as possible, on average around 2 weeks, but up to 3 weeks during peak season. I will do my best to communicate an accurate timeline with you based on my current workload.

Can you help us with planning?

Absolutely! I like to have a discussion prior to our session to help me understand your expectations and visions, and help you understand my process and ways in which we can achieve your vision. I also have many resources available to you for planning your wardrobe which I will provide when you book.

How far out do you book?

I book up to one year in advance. For sessions between September and November, I recommend booking at least 4 months in advance.

What should we wear?

For ideas, see my "Client Wardrobe" Pinterest board. In your pre-session interview, we can further discuss wardrobe options that photograph well, and create a unique coordinating palette for all members in your session. I also have some outfits available for women and children in my Client Closet.
